The making of this film was interupted by the COVID-19 film but we managed to make a temporary finish by substituting drawings for actors and asking them to record their lines from home.

The Venture Theatre

Our local amateur theatre has been closed since the begining of lockdown in March. However, a group of members have been meeting online and have been performing monologues and poems etc by themselves at home, which they have filmed or recorded using smartphones. We have been helping them by editing the footage, adding visual effects or sound effects in some cases and uploading them to the internet. To date, over 50 short films have been produced which can be seen on the theatre's Facebook page and YouTube channel.
