Terror in the Trenches

When the Grim Reaper visits the trenches on the Western Front in 1917, six slaughtered soldiers are chosen to plead with him to be allowed to live.

Maplewell Scribes, students at Maplewell Hall School, chose and researched 6 real characters who fought in the First World War and went on to achieve significant things in later life. They became these characters in the film and came up with a list of words which epitomised their character's achievements and then a sentence which said why they should be allowed to live.

It is hoped that this film will be used as a resource in school to promote discussion.The film can be viewed here:
